About Me
I'm Anna Averof, a theatre designer currently based in Lyon (France) and Athens (Greece).

My creative process is driven by my love of literary analysis, contextual research and imaginative experimentation. Working across disciplines, cultures and languages (Greek, Italian, French and English), I hope to craft visual worlds that become catalysts for entertainment, catharsis, and critical thinking.

​​With a particular love of devised theatre and transdisciplinary collaborations, I aim to design sets, costumes, and installations that merge the ordinary, the poetic, and the utterly bizarre.
​
In July 2023, I graduated with First-Class Honours from the BA (Hons) Design for Performance course at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.
