About Me
I'm Anna Averof, a Greek-Italian theatre designer and artist currently working in Athens (Greece), with bases in Lyon (France) and Cardiff (Wales). In July 2023, I graduated with First-Class Honours from the BA (Hons) Design for Performance course at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.

With a particular love of devised theatre and transdisciplinary collaborations , I aim to design sets, costumes, and installations that merge the ordinary, the poetic, and the utterly bizarre.

My creative process is driven by rigorous research, literary analysis and imaginative experimentation. Working across cultures and languages (Greek, Italian, French and English) and employing a range of skills from physical model making to SketchUp, Photoshop and AutoCAD, I collaborate on performances that provoke entertainment, catharsis, and critical thinking.
