A woman escapes her village and embarks on a journey through alien landscapes. Encountering danger, beauty, connection and wilderness, she adapts to each new environment, picking up new behaviours and physical characteristics from the worlds she observes.
Will she be recognised when she returns? Can she ever belong to just one place?
Created in response to the Artes Mundi biennial exhibition (2021).
Our team was inspired by the painter Firelei Báez.
